China has become one of the countries with an aging population. The aging population in village, in particular, accounts for more than 70%, making aging a serious problem. At the same time, the number of empty nesters is growing, too. Empty nesters elderly make up a more special and vulnerable group, because they are living far apart from their children and they often feel lonely. Many of their children go out to work away from hometown and there are few resources for elderly care. The current living conditions of the group are not so good and really need to be improved.
